Making Health Decisions

Following is Jim’s answer to someone who was struggling with trying to get a loved one to follow certain procedures regarding their health:

Jim: It is important to understand, that what a person decides to do about their own health is a very personal matter. In addition, there are so many factors involved in making a decision about which way to go involving one’s health. You’ve got to remember that everyone is different and what may be right for one person, may not be right for another.

We are not doctors, we do not diagnose, prescribe, treat, prevent or cure. We merely pass along information based on our experience and the experience of others. Everyone has the responsibility of choosing their own health treatment, with the supervision of a qualified health professional, if desired.

That said, if a person decides they would like to try MMS for any health reason, the overall rule of thumb is to start out with low doses every hour for at least 8 hours a day, (can be longer—depending on health condition and so on) and then slowly increase the dosing. If at any time one starts to feel nausea or diarrhea coming on that is more than a slight twinge, lower the dose until this subsides and then slowly increase again until you find the right dose for you. That is an amount that does not cause diarrhea or nausea (which is called a Herxheimer reaction). There are various details that are important to know, which is why I wrote the Guidebook. If you want to succeed, you need to know the details.

I understand your position to want to know everything “right now” but it really is wise to get the full counsel in the book. I tried to make it as concise as possible, so hopefully it is not hard to follow. I know in today’s world people want a quick fix, a short cut, a bio-hack. But it pays to get the basics down. There’s just no substitute for getting a good foundation. In situations when a person is seriously ill, if it were me, I would follow the Health Recovery Plan as outlined in the book. This helps one personalize their own protocol. It’s really not rocket science, but you gotta do a little homework. Get the basics down. Pay attention—follow the signals your body is giving you, and adjust what you are doing accordingly.
